Bear in Twin Ponds

Debbie P • June 8, 2020

A resident saw a bear at about 7:30AM near building 335 on Monday June 8th.

The bear was seen walking  in front of building 335 this morning. He/she came out of the woods and walked past the community gardens and up the hill and into the woods towards BayRidge.

We read that if you see a bear, back away slowly, preferably in the direction you came. Walk, don't run, and keep your eye on the bear so you can see how it will react. In most cases, the bear will flee.

Be careful residents!
